Christmas Party In Panguitch

The day after Thanksgiving we had our annual christmas party at the Flying M banquet room!! it was alot of fun. My uncle Bob and uncle Lloyd made prime rib.......YUMMY!! After dinner my aunt Lynells kids did a live nativity. Then after that we sang christmas carols until santa came and watched all the kids get their gifts from santa clause. after that all of the adults played bunco. We had a really great time and it was really great seeing everyone!! My uncle Quinn playing christmas tunes

Great Grandparents

About a week or so ago we decided to drive up to utah and let mya meet her great grandparents. first we went to spanish fork and stayed with Codys brother Tim the next morning we went to kaysville to visit codys grandpa and grandma Wilson. Then we drove down to Panguitch and she met her great grandma and grandpa Orton and Brinkerhoff!! I forgot to take pictures of mya with the Brinkerhoff Grandparents.......i know what was I thinking!!

so it has taken me over a month just to post these couple of pics!! SORRY.....meet Mya Nelson.

I went into labor on thursday morning at 11 am, we went into the hospital and i was only dialated to a 2 so they sent me home and told me to come back when things progress. so when we left the hospital we decided to go and get some pizza and go home and watch a movie!! well around 3 pm i started having contractions more often and much stronger....but my mom always told me to be tuff and only go to the doctor if the pain is super bad so i stuck it out until 7pm. when I got to the doctor they checked me and I was dialated to a 6 and 100% so they admitted me. After they broke my water and gave me some drugs (Finally) her heart rate started to drop everytime I had a contraction so we decided to have a C-Section to get her out quick. she was born at 11:17 pm October 8, 2009!! she weighed 6lbs 4oz and was 18 1/2 inches long.

Since she is now a month old she looks completly different so give me a while and I will post more pics!! I never thought she would take up so much of my time im lucky to get a shower and somthing to eat!!

Great Begining of a day!!

So this morning we decided to take the dog on a nice long walk since the weather is cooling down quite a bit and then after that we were gonna go target shooting. so when we get out to the shooting place Cody shoots off about 10 rounds or so and then we go and look at his shots on the target. he did pretty good. Then its my turn i hit 2 targets and my 3rd target ended up being my husbands new truck. I'm such a dumb ass.........look at my damage. I feel so bad :( No more shooting for me!!!

News..........

So sorry about not posting anything for so long but we really don't have anything too exciting going on. I did go to the doctor today and I am dilated to a 3 so we will be meeting our baby pretty soon.
Everyone has been asking for a belly pic so I will post one soon. Also tomorrow is Cody's Birthday so i will post about that soon

Baby Showers

Both sides of the family decided to throw us a baby shower HORRAY!! Codys family did one on the 15th and my family threw theirs on the 22nd!! I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures!! :( Since the showers were one Saturday after the next and both in St. George we decided to just stay their and save money on gas and stuff. It was nice to be away from our daily routine for a while and just take some time to relax and hang out with our families....... but when the 22nd came around we were ready to get back home THAT IS FOR SURE!!!! We just want to thank everyone that came to the shower and for all the gifts. It helped us out so much. We love you guys. Hopefully I can get some pictures from the family and post them later.

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 5th anniversary. I can't believe we have been married for 5 years. I love ya babe thanks for the best 5 years of my life.....i am looking forward to 60 more :)

No longer private

We decided to change our blog back and not be private anymore. A lot of family and friends were having a hard time accessing it so I guess this will fix the problem.

Baby's Room

We finally got the baby's room painted. What a relief. The accent wall was a lot of work but I like the way it turned out. Now we are just waiting on the crib to be delivered and then we will be almost ready for her to come. A big thanks to Cody's Mom Madge for helping us with the crib. We love ya and appreciate it a ton!!!

Out to lunch with the Fam

On July 3rd my mom took us out to lunch after we went fishing. She always raves about the Adobe Cafe in Hatch so we decided to make the 15 minute drive to go and have some lunchie. It was super good and it was reasonably priced. It was such nice weather we decided to eat out on the front deck. Thanks for lunch mom it was YUMMY!! We had such a great time in Panguitch. The fireworks were really great too!! Thanks grandma and Grandpa Brinkerhoff for letting us stay at your place butters had such a good time running around the yard and the garden!!
